Carrie Sue Barnes

Carrie Sue Barnes was born the youngest of seven children in a tightly-knit Michigan family. Her childhood was filled with family, faith, and books. By middle school, Carrie Sue's love for the written word expanded from reading to writing. Currently, Carrie Sue resides with her husband and children in a lovely little city in Wisconsin. Surrounded by lakes, trees, and daily reasons to celebrate the worth of life, she is always finding more stories to tell.

Longtime author of short fiction and inspirational reflections on her blog, Carrie Sue released her debut novel, The Hidden Legacy, in 2018 with Bold Vision Books. She believes in the power of family stories to strengthen the branches of each generation by connecting them to their nourishing roots. This belief was a shaping influence of the inter-generational story of love, sacrifice, and courage told in The Hidden Legacy.
