Robert L. Harding lived for a year in Indonesia and speaks and writes Indonesian. While in Indonesia he became enamored with the people and culture of Indonesia and traveled extensively on the island of Java.
He is currently employed as a manager at a large water district in southern California, and is a nationally and internationally recognized expert in water resources planning. In addition to his current job, he has consulted for the City of New York and was selected by the United States-Asia Environment Partnership to deliver a series of seminars on water resources in Indonesia.
He has been a popular speaker on water-related issues throughout Southern California. He is equally at home with 30 grandmothers at the Burbank Garden Club or a gymnasium full of 500 inquisitive college freshmen. For a number of years he has been the de facto “roaster” at company retirements.
Robert loves sports and has coached dozens of youth football, basketball, baseball and soccer teams. Besides writing his current passions are flying and Jiu Jistsu. He lives in Southern California with his family.
