Marc Boston has always been a lover of books but didn’t grow up aspiring to become an author. However, as a stay-at-home dad and evening bedtime story reader, he was inspired to write original stories, that included diverse characters, to read to his daughters.
As Toni Morrison stated, “If there’s a book you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.” Gathering many of his writing ideas from daily interactions with his girls, he did just that. And the result is The Girl Who Carried Too Much Stuff, his first published children’s picture book. His second published children’s book is entitled, What About Me?, and his third published book is called, Dad is Acting Strange. Be on the look out for his newest release, A Promise to Grow.
He also writes about conscious parenting and self-discovery at marcboston.com.
Marc was born in Baltimore, MD, and raised in Kansas City, KS. He lives with his wife Rachael and their three daughters in Charlottesville, VA.
