Jenna Griffis

Jenna Griffis is an author and stay-at-home mom who lives in the Dallas/Ft Worth area with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading, watching movies, decorating her house, and spending time with family and friends.

Graduating from Baylor University with a degree in Social Work, Jenna enjoyed working in Geriatrics for almost 10 years prior to having children. She now has the privilege of writing from home so she can help with the day-to-day activities of family life. Mentoring At-Risk kids and Mothers of Preschoolers, singing, and teaching Preschool Choir are activities that she participates in as well.

Jenna's first book was a personal account of the journey her daughter was on as she was entering the modeling industry and how she learned to handle that role. Honored and excited to start on this journey with her first book in a series of Hometown Hero stories, Jenna uses her Social Work background to help kids find compassion in every day deeds that make a difference in the lives of those around them. Telling stories to kids about how they can help others and become heroes themselves is such an incredible and rewarding opportunity.
