Laura Thomas Vroman

Laura Thomas Vroman is a children's author and former special education teacher who taught on either side of the sixteen years she stayed home to raise her son and daughter. One of her greatest joys while in the classroom was teaching children to write and publish their own books. She takes her inspiration for writing from walks in nature, meditation and her keen interest in empowering children beyond their circumstances and self-interpreted limitations. Laura lives in Michigan with her husband and rescue dog, Lexi.
