Michael Benner

The author of "Fearless Intelligence," MICHAEL BENNER is best known for his popular news and progressive talk-radio shows on KABC-AM, KLOS-FM, KLSX-FM, KCBS-FM, KRLA-AM and KPFK-FM in Los Angeles. His audio podcast, the Ageless Wisdom Mystery School, streams on all platforms and the weekly video version can be seen on his YouTube channel, "The Ageless Wisdom Mystery School."

Michael left broadcasting as a full-time profession in 1987 to begin his own business, Personal Development Strategies. As presented by Michael, these skills include emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and mindful self-awareness. He also wrote and facilitated the breakthrough self-awareness training for law enforcement, "Internal Vigilance," commissioned by the Orange County California Sheriff's Academy.

Currently a resident of La Quinta, just outside Palm Springs, California, he teaches online classes in the perennial philosophies, a.k.a. The Ageless Wisdom. Michael is a popular convention speaker and retreat leader who also offers personal counseling and training by Zoom, WhatsApp, and Facetime.

A graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. degree in broadcast management and journalism. Michael has been awarded a lifetime certification as an Instructor of Communication Arts by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors. He is a certified hypnotherapist (C.Ht.) specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders. He is also a federally licensed amateur radio operator, N6IJR, and has served as a Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management consultant to the American Red Cross.

Michael has received formal accolades from the United Nations Association, the California State Senate, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the American Red Cross, the Live and Learn Foundation, the National Leukemia Broadcast Council, the Glendale Family YMCA, and the Glendale Jaycees.
