Richard E Schiff

I am a Life Member of the Art Students League of New York City. My short fiction has been published in numerous publications; currently, many of my short stories are serialized in Front Porch Monthly published in Virginia.

When I moved into Greenwich Village in 1965, it was a very different part of Manhattan. My current novel, The Bodygrabber: A Tale of Greenwich Village, takes place in 1970. I have recreated the golden age of Greenwich Village but added a supernatural story.

My chief characters, Detective Felix Bailey and his sexy girlfriend Reba Sinclair, are characters that I continue in my soon-to-be-released sequel. Rather than write about the Supernatural, I have reach back to an Active Mystery Format, allowing my Detectives to work to their fullest.

Many of my Short Stories; The Murder of Dr. Ajamian, Close Encounters of the Abducted Kind, My Little Friend, Kicked, and The Battle of the Washita River, are now available in Kindle versions.
