Debbie Marsh

Debbie Marsh is an exhausted mother of three fantastic, wonderful, ungrateful children. Her daughters are now living as far away from her as possible in Seattle, WA and Raleigh, N.C., Her son recently graduated from Penn State University and is in New Jersey. Since he’s the only one within shouting distance he is now her favorite. She lives in State College, Pennsylvania with four cats (two that her daughters forced upon her) and a man named Fred.

She very gratefully taught elementary school for 30 years and spent most of them in kindergarten.She is currently LOVING retirement. She wrote a monthly column for her local newspaper for 10 years called Notes From the Teacher and has a blog, Vodkamom.(Anyone who has lived through the teenage children years will completely understand the name. Although these days, MOST people are probably vodka-people. She adores all that she does and is extremely thankful for her amazing friends and for each and every day on this earth.
