Ravindran Pottekkat

I was born in a middle class peasant house at Manalur village of Thrissur district of Kerala, India on 23rd Sept 1946 . I had my education at Manalur High School and Kerala Varma College, Thrissur. During my college days I had written many stories in Malayalam .After graduation, I joined the Telecommunication department in 1968. While in service I took MA in English literature from Sri Venkiteswara university, Tirupati .I have worked at several districts in Kerala such as Trivandrum, Thrissur, Calicut and Wayanad and retired as Senior Sub Divisional Engineer in the year 2006. After retirement, I shifted residence to Bangalore and started my literary work. I have published eleven books in English in the genre of short stories, novelettes and novels.
