Lisa Volz

Lisa Volz caught the writing bug when she won a poetry contest in the fifth grade, and she hasn’t stopped writing since. She writes about characters that are familiar. They could be your best friend or your worst enemy, but they all have something in common: they are flawed in the most beautiful ways. Lisa lives with her husband and children on the Mid-Atlantic coast. She was raised by creative parents with a mother who could sew any Halloween costume she asked for and father who could make or repair just about anything. They passed on their creativity and ingenuity teaching her how to be a resourceful woman.
