Pamela V Johnson

Dr. Pamela Vanessa Johnson (b. 1960) is native to Florida.

Abuse, bullying, domestic and intimate partner violence can seem like societal norms. Research on abuse, bullying, domestic and intimate partner violence is insurmountable. Perhaps reading mini moments in PEEPED will inspire readers to be aware of healthy and unhealthy behaviors, to get help, to break barriers, and to live victorious lives.

Surviving abuse, bullying, domestic and intimate partner violence was not enough! Journaling lead to detailed writing, then publishing short stories (Mini Moments) as a cathartical and healthy means of expression. Publishing written works provides a way to share 'freedoms' and 'hope' with others.

Dr. Johnson's career in Nursing began in 1987 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Dr. Johnson earned a Baccalaureate of Science Degree in Nursing to work as a Registered Nurse in 1990. Fourteen years as a critical care nurse, combined with interest in care of people confined to their homes, compelled completion of a Masters of Science in Nursing, then licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in 2004 augmented by Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. The Doctor of Nursing Practice degree was conferred in 2015. A primary care provider to the home bound population, Dr. Johnson is an advocate and expert on health policies that impact people confined to their place of residence.
