Judith A Blakey

Judith Blakey, lover of music and committed to sharing her passion for music with others, is a music educator, an accomplished singer, musician, and author. Trained in Studio Art and Classical Voice, she earned her BA at Transylvania University in Lexington KY and moved to Los Angeles to continue her music education and career. She has served over ten years teaching recorder, recorder ensemble classes, and developing music programs in the Los Angeles area public, charter, private and after-school programs, and adult community centers. She also teaches beginning piano at the SESA Conservatory of Music and maintains a private music studio where she teaches piano, voice, and music theory to students young and old with varying degrees of interest and ability.
