James D. Vespoli

James Vespoli is a poet and photographer whose work is rooted in the natural world. His poems often return to pines, birds, and back roads, where faith and memory surface in the small, ordinary details most people hurry past.

He is the author of collections including Song of the Pines and Birds: Images of Birds and their Follies, pairing plainspoken, musical lines with images gathered on real trails and in real weather.
