Diana B. Simpson

Diana B. Simpson was born in Queens, New York. For over twenty years, she has served as an educator in various schools on the east coast. She is currently a 4th-grade teacher employed by Prince George’s County in Upper Marlboro. She received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Claflin University and post-graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina-Aiken and South Carolina State University. Since her youth, she has had a penchant for writing and aspirations to publish her collection of poems. Her first book, "Just for My Journey: Expressions on My Walk," was released in June 2018. She currently resides in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
