I am a Wife to an amazing man, and a Mom of 5 children.

My 3rd child was diagnosed with an inoperable, cancerous brain tumor when he was only 4 years old, in October 2014. My real superhero endured countless appointments, lab work, surgery, Radiation, chemotherapy and he took a targeting drug daily for 3 years. Currently, he is drug free, 8 years old and during great!

My son was the inspiration behind my first book, "You Are Brave". Before every radiation appointment we would say to him, "You are brave, even if you feel afraid", he would walk into the radiation room and did 6 weeks (30 rounds) of radiation WITHOUT sedation. He was so incredibly brave, and he overcame his fearful moments. This book encourages any child on any type of medical journey, that they are brave, courageous, special, beautiful, and never alone.

My other 4 children inspired me to write my second book "You Are Loved". They encouraged me to write a book that was for the siblings, or cousins or any loved one that knows and loves someone on a medical journey. They too are important, loved, precious, kind, creative, etc.
