Doc was born on December 13, 1954. Doc was raised by a single mother, who would later marry three times and have four other children. Being the oldest and with limited supervision, Doc learn life on the streets of Indianapolis, IN.
Doc’s mother died of cancer when she was 54 years old. Her death in 1991 catapulted Doc to search for his identity and purpose through many worldly and religious means. But all he achieved was a sense of entitlement through justification while being addicted to drugs and a sinful lifestyle.
Then, in 2009, emotionally broken Doc met Jesus in his garage. He came out of that encounter a new creation. He is now an ordained minister and has served the Lord in many capacities, including three overseas mission trips. He has a BA in Christian Counseling. He ministers and counsels at a local rehab facility and jail, where he teaches about the Lord through the Free Indeed program he created. His ministerial desire is for others to know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a Difference for the sake of the world and the glory of God! His new book, Beyond Recovery, will soon be available.
