William Dolphin

William Dolphin has been a professional writer and editor for more than thirty years, working for think tanks, local governments, private industry, advocacy groups, and universities. He has published hundreds of articles and opinion pieces and has contributed to more than a dozen books, as well as white papers for policy makers and guides for patients, physicians, and attorneys.

He has taught writing at San Francisco State University, Rhodes College, Azusa Pacific University, and the University of California, Berkeley. He currently teaches in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School of Education at the University of Redlands.

William holds a B.A. from Fort Lewis College and an M.A. from San Francisco State University. He lives in Southern California with his wife, Michelle Newhart, and two young sons.
