Rick Benton

Rick Benton writes as if he were telling his story to his friends. His first book “Dancing with Pirates” is a little raunchy in the beginning but with purpose. Rick is just a regular guy in a small town in North Carolina that not only got his heart broke and vowed to never let it happen again but had other struggles including depression. Although he didn’t realize how powerful the love for a child could be. Rick did some self evaluating, left on vacation to Cancun Mexico with the promise to himself to return a new man so he could be the father he never had. Rick now in his forties is the father of three and has been happily married to his wife Lisa for over eleven years.
