Ruth Elliott-Smith

A former TV and press journalist, Ruth travelled extensively before settling in Cheshire, UK, and raising two daughters. The Sword is her debut novel. She was in Jerusalem and the Occupied Territories after the 6-Day War and bases the settings and characters of her book on the places and remarkable people she met there
