Chris Duffey is Global Head of AI Products & Platforms at Adobe, where he builds and scales the AI platforms and products global institutions depend on. He leads product strategy and delivery for AI and agentic platforms – including Firefly and GenStudio-class enterprise platforms that have scaled AI platform revenue into nine figures, expanded flagship platform TAM threefold, and driven triple-digit GenAI growth across 1,000+ enterprise customer teams in 35+ countries. Adobe Firefly has produced more than 27 billion model generations in two years, one of the fastest enterprise AI adoptions in history.

He drives joint ownership between product and engineering – across model gateways, orchestration, and evaluation infrastructure – and aligns product design to close the last mile, translating deep technical capability into usability and workflow fit. His teams run a fixed operating cadence, signal to ship, that converts market signal into shipped product and compresses time-to-value, and he develops and elevates AI product leaders across three continents.

Duffey's current focus is the agentic frontier: the commercial infrastructure of trusted agents, verification, certification, metering, and monetization – and the governed platforms that let institutions deploy autonomous systems where failure is not an option. Over the past decade he has driven successive waves of enterprise AI – predictive, generative, AI-native workflows, and governed agentic execution, from research into production.

He is the author of Superhuman Innovation, winner of CES 2020 Gary's Book Club Top Technology Book of the Year and the world's first book co-authored with AI about AI, in which he built one of the earliest published conversational AI models designed as a human–machine co-reasoning interface, pioneering the shift from predictive AI toward deliberative, agentic intelligence. He is also the originator of Admissibility Alignment, a decision-theoretic control architecture defining which AI actions are permitted under uncertainty, published on arXiv.

Duffey has delivered 100+ mainstage keynotes across 25+ countries, advising the United Nations, governments, Fortune 500 leadership teams, and global technology platforms. His work has been featured by more than 300 outlets. He serves on the CTA AI Board, UN Smart Cities, the ANA Board, the Ad Council, and the Semafor World Economy Council, and holds an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Marquette University.
