Stephen Zahm, PhD is a clinical psychologist in practice in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA. He is a founding Co-Director and Senior Faculty of Gestalt Therapy Training Center--Northwest. Dr. Zahm taught Gestalt therapy for almost four decades, as well as teaching group and couples therapy as an Adjunct Professor at Pacific University School of Professional Psychology. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles and book chapters on Gestalt therapy theory and practice. A student of Buddhist psychology and an Insight (Vipassana) meditation practitioner for many years, he trains and presents nationally and internationally on the intersection of Buddhist psychology and Gestalt therapy.
