Michael J. Balboni

Michael J. Balboni, PhD is on faculty at Harvard University and teaches at the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics. He holds a Ph.D. in theology from Boston University and has completed post-doctoral training at the Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard Divinity School, and the University of Chicago.

His social science research has centered on the intersection of spirituality and medicine where he has over 50 peer-reviewed publications in spirituality and medicine. As a licensed minister, Michael serves as a pastor at Park Street Church and the Longwood Christian Community, both in Boston, USA.
