Linda Hodge-McLoud is originally from Buffalo, NY and moved to Atlanta from Dayton, OH in late 2007. She is a writer/poet, actress and theatrical director who enjoys performing in community theatre and has appeared in many stage productions. “Gabby Grape Meets Junk Food Junkie” is Linda’s first published children’s book. When not writing, she is a substitute elementary school teacher, K through 3rd grade. Linda loves working in her small garden, and staying fit by walking every day and attending a local fitness center weekly. She also enjoys cooking nutritious meals for her family and friends.
She has been a reader at Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), for GARR’s (Georgia Radio Reading Service for the Visually Impaired) since 2010. Her show is called “Open Door to Poetry” and is one GPB has chosen to broadcast internationally. One of Linda’s dreams is to write a series of “Gabby Grape” adventure books and have her own theater where she can present children’s productions. She’d also like to travel the world while “surrendering to God’s dream for her life.”
