Lyndsay has a bachelor of arts degree in women's studies, film studies, and media arts. After developing a baking obsession, however, she founded her blog and soon became well known both for her playful, vintage-meets-modern cake designs and her charming, light-hearted personality. She created the #f*ckcancercake campaign to connect with fellow readers battling with the disease and raise money for The Lipstick Project, a non-profit organization providing uplifitng spa treatments to those facing significant health challenges. In 2017, she once again took her activist voice to her cakes creating the now-viral feminism cakes to celebrate the Women's March and the #MeToo movement. Her work has been featured by Buzzfeed, Yahoo, Cherry Bombe, Teen Vogue, Oprah.com, Jezebel, Elle Girl Korea, The Kitchn, and more.
