Andy McMillan

Andy’s professional background is more technology than theology, so his observations, insights and analogies are grounded in everyday life rather than abstract philosophy. Andy’s writing reflects his journey of life and faith, as well as his avocation for encouragement.

Andy’s journey has included some interesting side trips (e.g. jumping “free-fall” from a perfectly good airplane, strolling barefoot across red-hot coals, inventing experiential encouragement workshops) as well as some more typical life experiences (e.g. relationship joys and sorrows, professional success and failure, periods of spiritual drifting and moments of spiritual inspiration). It’s a journey that has taken him to many countries, introduced him to people with widely differing beliefs, and immersed him in a variety of different Christian communities. And it’s a journey that has blessed him with eight amazing siblings, two delightful children, a lot of love, an abundance of laughter … and a few personal miracles.
