Debbie Battler was born in Victoria BC, Canada. Her father was a lawyer and avid Rugby player and president of the Canadian Rugby Union. Her mother was a registered nurse. Debbie is the eldest of five, three sisters and one brother. Debbie grew up in Victoria and spent most of her time horseback riding. She moved to Vancouver in her mid 20's where she rode horses by day and worked in Night Clubs as a Bartender to support herself and her horse. She sold her beloved horse and moved into Hotel and Restaurant Management full time. Oddly, this is where her love of computer technology began. After tiring of the nightlife, she decided to get a day job training retail staff on how to use POS software on computers. With the advent of the internet, she honed her computer and customer service skills helping Big Box Retailers post jobs on Canada's first Retail only Job site. She then met and started working with a Vancouver web developer and a Direct Marketing Brokerage. Through both Debbie has been able to help businesses with their Direct Marketing requirements for over 20 years. She is pleased to offer business' this simple guide in their quest for more customers.
