He also published an edited volume with James "Pigeon" Fielder and Ryan Gibb, Simulations in the Political Science Classroom: Games without Frontiers (Taylor & Francis). Other published topics include the politics of innovation in the music industry, the politics of sports, human rights, economic development, democratization, and virtual learning teams in the online classroom.
Dr. Harvey teaches courses for the Division of Business Technologies in international political economy, global management, law and ethics, leadership, and organizational management. He also teaches political science courses including American government, international relations, political theory, ideologies, and political management and strategy.
He was a small business owner and professional consultant. Consulting work included studies in education in the U.K., political marketing in Ireland, conflict forecasting and management, technical marketing, corporate social responsibility and the environment, and competitive benchmarking.
