Ann MacLean

Originally from Scotland, Ann has always lived a semi-nomadic life while working in hospitality and tourism; firstly in Australia, where she lived in various towns and cities over a twenty year period. Later she lived in Jersey, in the Channel Islands, and most recently operated her own hotel business in the beautiful English Lake District. Having launched her travel blog, www.barehotelier.com in 2017 after selling her business, she now travels full time, while writing amusing stories about her adventures and the places she visits.
