Mr Allan L. Peters

Allan Peters was born and educated in South Australia where he has spent most of his working life. He has, during his career served as a sales representative, a small business manager and videographer, conducted his own sales agency, worked in quality control within the motor vehicle industry and as a police historian.

Allan Peters is well known in South Australia for his first book No Monument of Stone: Elizabeth Woolcock’s struggle through life published in (1992), Recollections: Nathaniel Hailes’ Adventurous life in Colonial South Australia published in (1998), True and Infamous Crimes of Australia and New Zealand (2007), Dead Woman Walking: Was an innocent woman hanged? Published in (2008) New edition as new information came to light on Elizabeth Woolcock, and In The Line of Duty, A tribute to Australia’s fallen Police Officers (2013). His latest novel is "Mercy on your Soul" (2018) available to buy on Amazon.

Allan has travelled extensively both in Australia, Asia and in the United States with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies include creative writing, historical research, photography and spending time with his grandchildren.
