Andrew Raymond is a bestselling crime novelist with over 250,000 books sold. His debut DCI Lomond novel, The Bonnie Dead, was an instant Amazon Scottish Crime No. 1 bestseller, selling over 100,000 copies and cementing his place as a rising star in Tartan Noir.

Andrew is also the author of the bestselling Novak & Mitchell political thrillers and the Duncan Grant spy series, which has been optioned for film and television.

Born in Paisley, he honed his writing skills while working as a bookseller and later as a commercial manager for Waterstones in Glasgow, where he championed new voices in crime and fiction.

After over one hundred rejections from literary agents, Andrew published his first thriller, Official Secrets, on Amazon, where it became an instant bestseller thanks to glowing reviews and word-of-mouth success.
