Merry Gordon

Merry Gordon is a teacher, writer, and armchair historian who brakes for obscure roadside attractions and old cemeteries. She is the author of Arizona's Murdered Madams: Death in the Red-Light Districts, as well as Shutterbug, a children’s book exploring Hollywood’s Golden Age. Passionate about the past, she serves as a Site Steward with Arizona’s State Historic Preservation Office and holds memberships in various local historical associations.

If she's not in the archives, you'll find her in the classroom or on the stage, sustained by good coffee, good books, and good conversation. She lives in Arizona with her family.
