April Duckworth

April Duckworth is a teacher and designer of curriculum for art and music integration programs. As a child, she began to write creatively and began writing short stories. The Light Magnificent is a story that was born in a small coffee shop in Kentucky, with her sister-in-law, Lora, the illustrator. April hopes to share the message of this story to encourage compassion to all, to celebrate diversity, and to encourage a sense of community. April attributes the completion of this story to her husband and best friend, Dylan, who encourages her every day.
