Dennis E Smith

Dennis E Smith’s creative writing activities began in the music world: writing children’s music and lyrics and arranging and composing adult choral literature. While living in Australia, he wrote a series of beginning etudes for classical guitar. Many of the lyrics to his children’s songs were made into Reader’s Theater scripts. Prior to writing Lighthouse on the Hill, he published short stories and poems in local anthologies.

He continues to compose and arrange music, does fine woodworking, tries to keep up with four grown children and their families, and continues to write. A second novel is forthcoming.
