Gary R. Waitzman

Gary R. Waitzman is founder of the Law Offices of Gary R. Waitzman, LLC and Gary R. Waitzman Strategies in Lincolnshire, Illinois. His practice focuses on wealth management, estate planning, asset protection and legacy planning.

Gary graduated from the University of Illinois in 1973 and earned his CPA license in 1975 and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 1979.

Mr. Waitzman spent 10 years at a regional public accounting firm and 19 years as managing partner of a 40 attorney law firm.

Mr. Waitzman is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), Wealth Counsel (a National Network of Estate Planning Attorney’s), American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants (AAA-CPA), Illinois State Bar Association, The American Bar Association, Illinois State Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the MPS Organization.

Gary lives in Riverwoods, IL with his wife Katie, Buster, the wonder dog, and Cubby, a second dog member of our family. He is close with his children and six grandchildren; Alyssa, Brayden, Jase, Kayla, Carli, and Morgan.
