Phillip Scheiber was born in Huntington, Indiana, and grew up there, graduating in 1975, when he joined the Army. After a tour in Korea, and one with the 1st Infantry Division, he attended college in New Haven, CT, where he received his bachelors' degree, and his commission in the US. Army. After serving in the Army, he returned to civilian life, where he obtained a Masters' Degree, and subsequently went to work in the financial services' field, working for the Knights of Columbus.
After his stint with the Knights of Columbus, Phil opened his own agency, 'Scheiber & Associates' Financial. At that time he also began writing his monthly newsletters and blogs, focusing on retirement issues. Using educational seminars on issues ranging from retirement planning to taxes and Medicare, it allows Phil to focus on his clients' needs, and their concerns.
In each case, clients have their needs addressed in a custom manner, and constantly refer friends and family to him for consultation. His radio guest appearances on KCHK have made him a well-known and respected planner.
