Takis S. Pappas is a full-time researcher and writer. He holds a PhD from Yale University and, in the past, has taught comparative politics at several universities, including those of Thessaloniki and Athens in Greece; Strasbourg, France; Freiburg, Germany; Luxembourg; and the Central European University in Hungary. He has authored five books and co-edited two, with most recent Populism and Liberal Democracy: A Comparative and Theoretical Analysis (Oxford University Press, 2019). His newest research projects focus on nativism in Europe and on radical political leadership. He lives in Strasbourg, France, and tweets @takisspappas
