Ken Allen

I was born and have lived in Liverpool in the UK for sixty-five years. My wife runs a successful counselling business. My oldest daughter lives in South Africa and has developed both as a remarkable artist and a specialist in helping traumatised children. My youngest daughter is just completing her Master's Degree in performing popular music. As an accomplished singer, she performs across the Northwest of the U.K.

I began my career as a school teacher working in inner-city Liverpool. I was a headteacher of a church school in the city for twelve years. The school catered for children between the ages of three to eleven.

After twenty-five years of primary teaching, I moved into Higher Education working for a university based in Cambridge and Chelmsford. I had the privilege of working for Ultralab, a world-leading research laboratory, investigating the use of technology to make learning delightful. I also worked as a Senior Lecturer involved in groundbreaking online research-based degrees both for undergraduates and graduates.

Six years ago, I moved on from this to give time to research and writing. I am now involved in publishing high-quality books and other materials with a focus on teaching Biblical material to a broad audience outside of the organised church.

From the age of four, I was aware that God exists, and I committed my life to Him. Since that time, I have never wavered in my desire to serve and follow Him in my life. My purpose at this time is to provide food for the Soul and Spirit of anyone who wishes to receive this.
