Nicki Bertenshaw

Nicki Bertenshaw taught high school and college English in New Orleans, Louisiana, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Prescott, Arizona. She currently teaches English to adult immigrants and refugees in Tucson, Arizona.

Nicki was born in Santa Fe, grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, partied and ate well in New Orleans, Louisiana, raised her children in Prescott, and retired in Tucson, Arizona, her favorite city.

Nicki is a tireless advocate for women, for the Democratic party, and for animals.
