CC is passionate about helping family caregivers share their thoughts and journeys. The book, “A Lonely Journey,” is currently in its second printing. Shortly after its publication, family caregivers came forward seeking an opportunity to share their thoughts and journeys as well. During the pandemic a second book, "A Not So Lonely Journey," was compiled. A generous donation from the Aline Zerrenner Dementia Friendly Fund made the second book possible. CC has been a family caregiver most her life and serves on numerous boards that support family caregivers including the nonprofit Family Caregivers Rock. This nonprofit has a mission to support the health and wellness of family caregivers through community projects, events, and granting wishes to family caregivers.
