Sonja Thomas

Sonja Thomas is an Assistant Professor of Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies at Colby College. She teaches courses on gender and human rights, feminist theory, critical race feminisms, tap dance, and postcolonial and native feminisms. She has written on education in India, the Charismatic movement, tap dance and black vernacular traditions, and on South Asian immigration to rural America.
