The Art of shaping the Future is their passion.

Aline is a Provocative Thinker, Artist, Narrative Therapy practionner, Professor and Fellow of the Louvain School of Management, women in spiritual quest. Her passion and profession are enhancing people’s freedom and power to purposefully redraw their Mental maps so they can explore uncharted territories with imagination and shape desirable Futures.

She lives between Utopia and Reality, between the Impossible and the Possible.

Obsessed by her quest to understand “What is Reality?”, she has sharpened her skills in “opening the doors of perceptions” to refresh and broaden our vision of the world as well as to enhance our capacities to craft meaning-making realities.

As a child, she kept drawing all the time and experienced in her flesh what Gaston Bachelard said: "Imagination awakens new Life and opens eyes that have new types of Vision".

Being dyslexic, she had a problem with repetitive and “linear” logic, and she developed the joyful practice of approaching things “upside down” and “downside up”. As an example, she always believed we had to reverse the traditional way of looking at things, attributed to Saint Thomas: “I only believe what I see”. “I see what I believe” is much more appropriate. Hence the Title of this book “The eye only sees what the brain is ready to understand”.(Bergson).

In the same vein, her quest is to make the Future we imagine the cause of the Present.

She holds a law degree, 4 Executive Certificates from the M.I.T Sloan School of Management but above all, she is deeply influenced by her training with Edward de Bono, Master in Serious Creativity and Lateral Thinking as well as by her Narrative Practices and her encounter with her partner, Jean-Louis Baudoin.

Aline and Jean-louis have been helping dozens of people and teams around the world face their challenges and think into the future with the Imagination, bold Thinking and Creativity needed to challenge the status quo and actively Shape their Futures in a completely different "Landscape".

For over 25 years, they have blended together Wisdom, Humor, Academia, Creative lenses, Jazz, Narrative approaches, extensive Know Hows, Unorthodox approaches and Passion to convey the vital Art of Re-Perception: intentional Shifts in Minds for Shifts in Action”.

Shapership is an innovative concept and set of practices they invented to open a world which is neither Leadership nor Entrepreneurship. It illustrates their commitment to help people develop the power and freedom to redraw their Mental maps so they can shape a radically different, meaningful and desirable future. Shapership can inspire anyone to think Big, radical, and open up transformative paths to the Future, in tune with their Aspirations and the imperatives of our times.
