Yoko Bongo is an author of science fiction and video game fan fiction whose imaginative worlds bring compelling stories to life. Born in Hokkaido, Japan, she relocated to California in her teens and later attended Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University, which is where she first began her writing journey.

A lifelong enthusiast of science, superheroes, and video games, Yoko draws upon her diverse life experiences to shape her storytelling. Her varied background includes time spent working as a veterinary assistant, a Victoria's Secret salesperson, and stepping into the spotlight as a cosplay model. Additionally, she is a self-taught guitarist with a deep passion for '80s rock and progressive metal. Today, Yoko channels her love of technology and science fiction into her writing, crafting vivid narratives where her imaginative worlds come to life.
