Cheryl Loudermelt

I got my Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2004, but quickly determined that a very silly teenager decided what I was going to do as an adult. During a mad spree to figure out where I belonged, I worked as everything from a waitress to actress. After getting my MA in English and Creative Writing, I started teaching, which I love, especially Mythology.

Even though I'm happy in Arizona, I will always consider the Blue Ridge Mountains home. I miss dogwood trees, sweet tea, and banjo music most of all.

I love music, particularly classical, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Debussy when I'm working, but karaoke is always an offer I can't refuse. Like a lot of other southern women, I find it my personal duty to stuff everyone that enters my house whether they are hungry or not. Happiness is having people to feed.
