Cia Slater

Cia Slater is an artist and fashion designer, born and raised in Southern California. Her professional experience includes working in costuming for the theater of the famous Crystal Cathedral in Orange County, California. It also includes creating award-winning runway fashions and formal gowns. Today she maintains a select clientele. "It's the freedom of expression through thoughts and action that encourages me to continue my art and explore other arts, as well."

Art has always been an important part of Cia's life. As a child, she loved to draw people and the fashions of the day. She attended the Los Angeles Trade Technical College where she graduated with a major in fashion design, Cia has a deep understanding of African design, which she incorporates into the African Glamour Coloring Book.
