Dr. Danielle Johnson is a native of Erie, PA. She attended the University of Toledo for undergraduate and Drexel University College of Medicine for medical school. She completed psychiatry residency and was chief resident of Psychiatric Emergency Services at the University of Cincinnati. She has remained in the Cincinnati area as board certified attending psychiatrist.
She treats adults in the inpatient and outpatient settings and particularly enjoys treating women’s mental health issues such as premenstrual dysphoric disorder and perinatal mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders.
She has served as Vice President and President of the Medical Staff and is currently Chief of Adult Psychiatry at her hospital. She is an active member of the Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Association and a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Johnson is a reviewer for mental health content on UpToDate.com and womenshealth.gov and a speaker on the topics of women’s and minority mental health.
