Dr. Michael T. Floyd

Pastor of Biblical Exposition at Northside Baptist Church

Dr. Michael T. Floyd preaches sermon series on a wide array of topics. He is an editor for Northside Publications and also narrates audio books.

Dr. Michael T. Floyd holds a degree in Biblical Education from Florida Bible College. In 2005, he graduated from Solid Rock Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Theology (ThD).

Dr. Michael T. Floyd has over 40 years of ministry experience. Previously, he was the senior pastor of Bible Church of Villa Park. His extensive ministry experience includes youth ministries, music ministries, and education. Dr. Floyd was the Academic Dean of Dayspring Bible College & Seminary for over 20 years. He also served as the assistant pastor at Quentin Road Baptist Church.

Dr. Michael T. Floyd participated in and led several mission trips to India, the Philippines, and Thailand. His other travel experiences include trips to Israel, England, Belgium, France, and Italy.

Dr. Floyd enjoys studying history and singing. He married his wife Trena in 1973 and has three children and six terrific grandchildren.
