Lucas Schmidt

Lucas Schmidt grew up in the Texas Hill Country, surrounded by untamed wilderness and wild animals. In high school, he started writing adventure stories and eventually novels about the Old West. After graduating from Texas State University, he worked for a nonprofit and e-learning company as a copyeditor and copywriter while he continued to hone his craft. He's traveled across the West, such as New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Wyoming, which inspires his western books. He still lives in the Texas Hill Country.
