Dan Ring

Dan Ring is an outdoor enthusiast; an accomplished long-distance runner, cyclist, and triathlete. He is a city boy who moved to the country and fell in love with a Southern girl. Her name was Debbie. They had three children - Jason, Jennifer, and Adam.

It was Dan's first grandson, Jaxton, that taught this longtime follower of Jesus Christ, Sunday school teacher, and deacon in the Baptist church that life is a lot more fun when you start your day with cartoons and Cocoa Puffs. Looking at prayer through the innocence and wonder of a child was the inspiration for Dan's first book, "I Learned Everything I Needed to Know About Prayer From A 3-year-Old."
