Dr Alfie Wines

Rev. Dr. Alfie Wines, MDiv, PhD, is a coach/mentor, 3x Amazon bestselling author/editor, biblical scholar, internet host, digital marketing/lead generation specialist, transformational speaker, emotional motivator, and spiritual entrepreneur. Using her unquenchable passions for business, life, and leadership, Dr. Wines empowers women to create their own breakthrough--in business and in life--to connect the pieces, get unstuck, create a new future story, and live their best lives.

Dr. Wines partnered with Equity for Women in the Church and edited I Wish Someone Had Told Me: Equity for Women in the Church, a work in which clergywomen, their allies, advocates, and co-conspirators share wisdom and insights on the joys and challenges of being a woman in ministry.

Additional books include Take Back Your Life: How to Break Through When LIfe Breaks Your Heart (book and journal), Seasons: The Stages of Life and an edited work, If I Could Not Pray. A book on the Book of Job and an Introduction to the Christian Canon are in the works

Dr. Wines writes biblical commentaries, essays, and a guest column (Durable Faith) for the Working Preacher, Craft of Preaching, and Enter the Bible websites sponsored by Luther Seminary. She serves as a Board Member and writes blogs for Equity for Women in the Church. Dr. Wines facilitates a Theological Reflection Group at her alma mater, Brite Divinity School. She is a member of Daughters of Abraham, a group of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish women who live and strive for peace.

Dr. Wines serves as Pastor Emeritia at Grace Metroplex UMC (United Methodist Church) in Fort Worth, TX.

Her business, The Sinew Consulting Group, shows women who are starting their online coaching business or who need a business strategy makeover, "a sophisticated way to work smarter, not harder."
