Catherine Keller

Born and bred in a land where chicken wings come with a waiver, Catherine Keller is the silo city siren of Buffalo, NY. She earned her Communications and Sociology Bachelor's Degree in 2017 from The College at Brockport. Her poetry has also been published in various literary magazines, including Wilderness House Literary Review, Tipton Poetry Journal, The Stray Branch, Slipstream, Anti Heroin Chic and Hooligan Magazine. She also contributed articles to the Buffalo News and Buffalo Rising, and Esperanza, a mental health magazine which focuses on depression and anxiety disorders. Some poets who inspire her are Savannah Brown, Rachel Wiley, Rudy Francisco and Siaara Freeman. She has been writing creatively for as long as she could scribble and is currently juggling between plenty of creative projects and short story collections that will (eventually) see the light of day. When she’s procrastinating poems she yearns to finish, she is chasing her hula hoop around her apartment, going places she's not 'supposed' to be and pranking the patriarchy.
